University at Buffalo - SUNY

As the only School of Public Health in Western New York, we provide both urban and rural study opportunities. We are also located on one of the busiest Canadian borders in the United States. Our school’s composition combines traditional public health disciplines with selected academic and professional programs closely related to public health (dietetics, exercise science, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy and rehabilitation science).

We are part of an Academic Health Center (medicine, pharmacy, nursing and dentistry) and collaborate with arts & sciences, law, architecture & planning, management, education and social work. Our school works closely with organizations and agencies within the region, notably the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the Research Institute on Addictions, the New York State Department of Health, the Erie County Department of Health, the Community Health Foundation of Western and Central New York, the VA Medical Center, the Buffalo-Niagara Medical Campus and the Western New York Public Health Alliance.
