The MPH program at Ohio University seeks to improve the well-being of rural and other underserved populations by preparing public health professionals who will passionately pursue bold public health solutions based upon the highest standards of public health knowledge, skills, and scientific proficiency. Unique to the program is enhanced coursework and experiential activities focused on the needs of rural communities in Appalachia and on underserved communities domestically and internationally. With both online and on-campus programs, students are exposed to a diverse network of professionals throughout the country who are working in wide-ranging organizations from government, corporations, health departments, community-based organizations and healthcare settings.
