Fairfield University is located on the Connecticut coastline, just 60-minutes away from the heart of Manhattan and less than a mile from the beaches of Long Island Sound.

As a values-based, student-centric, outcomes-focused Jesuit Catholic University, we are committed to educating the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — and providing students with experiential learning and professional development opportunities that give them a competitive edge in today’s job market. Fairfield University’s Bachelor of Science in Public Health program is housed within the Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies, which also offers undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Social Work. Our generalist BSPH program is designed to ensure that students develop a comprehensive foundation in the theory and practice of public health with a strong emphasis on cultural humility, interprofessional collaboration, social justice, health equity, evidence-based problem solving, and policy.
