MPH student presentation

The Bastyr University MPH Program prepares its graduates to be public health professionals with a commitment to social justice and health equity. It emphasizes community health education and incorporates throughout its curriculumreal-world projects with community organizations. The MPH Program is a proud subrecipient through the Snohomish Health District on a national grant from the Department of Health and Human Services/Office of Minority Health that allows students to work directly on research related to advancing health literacy in Snohomish County. Because of these projects, students obtain hands-on relevant experiences that can be included on their resumes as well as the opportunity tobuild their professional networks prior to graduating.By equipping students with the skills and knowledge of biological, social and environmental factors, they are prepared to address health inequities in the most marginalized and vulnerable communities.
