CEPH Statement on Racism, Injustice, and Inequality

The Council on Education for Public Health stands with its academic and practice partners to condemn injustice, inequality, and structural and systemic racism in America. Racism and its resulting impact on every aspect of the lives of people of color including housing, education, employment, and criminal justice, undermine physical, mental and emotional health and well-being, making it impossible to achieve health equity. This is a public health crisis and we are committed to doing our part to address it.

We stand in support of our Corporate Members, the American Public Health Association and the Association of Schools and Programs in Public Health in their efforts, as well.
