Aleta joined CEPH in 2022 as director of accreditation monitoring and assessment, bringing over 15 years of experience as a professional staff member at accredited schools of public health. In her most recent role as director of curriculum assessment, accreditation, and pedagogy at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health, Aleta led schoolwide evaluation, accreditation compliance, and reporting. Aleta collaborated with faculty and staff to develop effective strategies to continuously improve public health instructional program quality and promote equitable student learning opportunities.

Prior to joining UNC, Aleta led both the initial accreditation and reaccreditation processes at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Public Health, where she served as administrator for evaluation and program coordination. She also directed substantive changes, interim reports, and annual reports, and actively participated in related projects such as competency revisions, curriculum mapping, program development, and established the college-wide evaluation process.

Aleta received her MPH in maternal and child health from George Washington University.

In her free time, Aleta enjoys dancing to music, playing games, and working jigsaw puzzles with her family.
