The Bachelor of Science in Public Health program at University of Nebraska at Omaha is proud to be among the first stand-alone baccalaureate CEPH accredited programs. Our program prides itself on creating meaningful, practical experiences for students through strong emphases on both community engagement and direct student mentorship through undergraduate research experiences. Program faculty are deeply connected with local communities and extend opportunities for undergraduate students to engage with community members, organizations, and coalitions. Faculty also actively involve undergraduate students in their research, as well as support students in mentored research projects. The BSPH program exemplifies the goals of the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences to foster the development of dedicated practitioners, reflective scholars, and responsible citizens.
