The College of Public Health and Health Professions is a hub of interdisciplinary instruction, research and professional service at the home of the world-famous Florida Gators. Located in a vibrant Health Science Center and recognizing that the most challenging population health issues can only be addressed through collaborative efforts, students and faculty work with experts in other health sciences to address the most critical public health issues of our time.
The college offers outstanding instructional programs in public health, including joint professional programs and unique programs in the emerging field of one health. Opportunities for cutting-edge research in behavioral health, infectious disease, cancer, health disparities, health outcomes, rehabilitation and many more critical areas are abundant in the college’s 21st century facilities designed to foster interdisciplinary work. Students and faculty can be found throughout the United States and many other countries providing professional service to individuals and populations in need.
