University of Alberta
Canada’s first CEPH-accredited institution, the University of Alberta School of Public Health is dedicated to public health with a focus on promoting and protecting health, and preventing disease and injury. Approved by the Board of Governors in 2006, the school is home to the newest faculty in the university.
The school offers four PhD, eight MSc and six MPH degree programs and serves nearly 300 graduate students annually. Faculty members engage in both curiosity-driven and community-driven inquiry, and are committed to productive knowledge exchange. Together, they have generated more than $70 million in research funding since 2006.
The University of Alberta is home to more than 170 graduate programs, 200 undergraduate programs and 400 active student groups. It is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
