The School of Community Health Sciences (SCHS) is committed to an ecological approach to health and wellness across the life span and engagement with the community in the tradition of American land-grant universities. We offer the Master of Public Health degree specializing in epidemiology or social and behavioral health and a Bachelor of Science degree with over 500 students. Other degrees are offered in collaboration with other schools in our Division of Health Sciences, including dual MD/MPH and MSN/MPH programs and a collaborative doctoral degree with UNLV in environmental and occupational health.
As The Nevada Wolf Pack, we pride ourselves on our depth of programs and curriculum – as a smaller program, students gain the advantage of greater personal interaction with faculty and their research.
