The Master of Public Health Program within Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine is a comprehensive, graduate-level program designed to prepare students to define, critically assess, and resolve public health issues. The program emphasizes acquisition of knowledge and skills for promoting health, preventing disease, developing and evaluating programs, enhancing clinical practice, conducting research, and providing community service.
This generalist curriculum enhances understanding of biological, social, environmental, demographic, and political factors that determine the health of the population through on-site and online course offerings. Our learner-centered program is structured to accommodate diversity and individual career goals within a global society, and is supported by a dedicated faculty body. Located in sunny South Florida, the Program provides abundant opportunities for public health field experiences, volunteer work, networking, and community collaboration throughout the course of study and beyond.
