The University of Iowa (UI) College of Public Health is part of a major research university and serves as a comprehensive public health resource for the state of Iowa, the Midwest region, and the nation. The college offers training leading to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees as well as combined degree options, including our five-year Undergrad to Grad degree program. Students have opportunities to engage in research, experiential learning, and global learning.

The UI College of Public Health’s robust research program embraces a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach to addressing public health challenges. A special emphasis is given to rural public health issues, community engagement, agricultural safety and health, environmental health, global public health, occupational health, zoonotic infectious disease, injury prevention, and health policy. The UI student experience is enhanced by our uniquely integrated town and campus, making Iowa City an ideal place to live, learn, and work.
