Oregon MPH Program
Oregon Health & Science University and Portland State University have entered a new phase in their 23-year collaboration. Originally accredited as the Oregon Master of Public Health Program, the new School will work toward self-study and accreditation for six MPH degree tracks, two MS degrees, an MA degree and three PhD degrees. In addition, the Portland State University’s BA and BS undergraduate degrees were accredited in June 2015. As an accredited MPH program, the collaborative has over 1,100 graduates. This is a unique collaborative of two universities with similar and complementary strengths across teaching, service and research. Both campuses are located in beautiful downtown Portland, the state’s urban center and in unique proximity to numerous public, private and nonprofit public health agencies and organizations. As a program with a strong service-learning tradition, students and faculty regularly work with and are inspired by the excellent and innovative work of community partners.
