Julie received her MPH in environmental and occupational health from the University of South Florida (USF), where she also obtained undergraduate degrees in health sciences and economics. As a graduate student, Julie was employed as a research assistant and helped to publish a paper exploring alternative sanitation options for everyday environmental and occupational hazards.
Prior to joining the CEPH, Julie worked at the USF College of Public Heath as a marketing coordinator, working on communication plans to increase engagement across the college. She also served as a compliance analyst in the pharmaceutical industry.
In her spare time, Julie enjoys watercolor painting, exploring new running trails across Florida, and traveling.
