A relatively small program in a small state, MPH students at the University of New Hampshire have an outstanding opportunity to engage with state and local agencies, as well as community organizations. To promote this engagement, in addition to traditional coursework, all students complete two field experiences within the community: one individual project and one as a member of a group. The outcomes of these field projects frequently influence public health policy and practice within the state and region.
