The Department of Public Health Education has offered a master's degree in community health education for over 20 years. The MPH program prepares students in both the art and science of health education practice with a focus on population health, all within a socio-ecologic model in public health.
Graduates of the program are successfully employed in leadership positions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes for Health, state and local health departments, community-based organizations and NGOs that work on domestic and international public health education.
