The Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health (JPHCOPH) focuses on empowering rural communities and underserved populations in the United States and internationally to effectively address public health issues, reduce health disparities and improve health outcomes.

JPHCOPH is student-centered with a commitment to small classes and to recruiting diverse faculty members who recognize the importance of teaching and mentoring students. The college offers bachelorette, masters and doctoral degrees to a diverse student body - over 45% of students are minorities or international students. Graduate programs include both in-person and online options.

The college also recognizes the importance of developing academically sound programs of study and conducting and disseminating high quality applied research that advances both the science and practice of public health. Faculty members collaborate with community partners to develop service activities that help build healthier communities and to help develop the public health workforce.
