Florida State University

Health policy is the primary focus at Florida State University's MPH Program. The program resides in the College of Social Sciences & Public Policy, which is located in the state capital. Faculty are committed to demonstrating how every public policy affects health status and how public health can shape those policies.

MPH students strive to make the world healthier through changing policy and practice, and managing health care facilities in a world dominated by public policy. Students intern and work at the Florida Department of Health, the local county health departments, the US Centers for Disease Control, the state Medicaid agency, consulting firms, community organizations, clinics, hospitals, physicians’ groups and media and lobbying groups.
