Jaquis

Jaquis received her MPH in Public Health with a concentration in Global Health Policy from the George Washington University. During her time there, Jaquis interned at the Latin American Youth Center where she built and facilitated a 6-week curriculum on public health promotion, nutrition, and the social determinants of health for DC youth ages 13-16. She also completed her final culminating experience research topic on "The Challenges of Implementing Environmental Impact Labels on Food Packaging".

Jaquis also received her BS in Public Health from the University of South Florida. During her time there, Jaquis served as a community manager where she supported students living on campus while utilizing the residential curriculum to create a safe-living environment for residents. Jaquis also volunteered at various public health project events with the USF Health Service Corps and the Children’s Cancer Center of Tampa.

Jaquis enjoys baking, reading, and traveling in her spare time.
