Located in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at UVM, the Public Health Sciences program strives to prepare the next generation of leaders to improve the health of individuals and communities.
During the senior Capstone course, students get to apply their learning while working hands-on with a local community-based organization to explore, assess and address relevant health-related issues facing the population(s) with whom they are working.
The program has strong relationships with the local community, hospital systems, health departments and organizations. Graduates of our program are working across and studying in a variety of fields including public health, law, policy, education, youth development, worksite wellness and more.
